The project succeeded in finding a scientific and economic solution to the problem of transformer oils contaminated with PCBs
This solution works on the treatment and reuse of these oils instead of getting rid of them, which achieves a great economic saving and reduces the import of these expensive oils and in this framework put forward an international tender for the import of two processing units for these oils represent the best and latest technologies in this field.The project has provided leading international and local expertise in this field and formed a scientific committee to study various aspects of this subject to reach the best solutions. Eng Ahmed Abd Elhamid the Head of the Project said we pay attention to the economic aspects If there are modern techniques to process these oils, why not take advantage of them instead of wasting them, especially since they are imported from abroad and constitute an economic burden.
